The World Is Flat

The world is flat because if it wasn’t it would roll. Like a basketball or golf ball. When they get it they roll but the world just stays in one place. If it was round it would roll everywhere and we would feel it because we are on the world. We would feel it when it gets closer to the sun and farther away from the sun. The weather would change every five minutes. But since it takes 365 days for the earth to rotate the earth is flat. And moves slowly.

Turning Ten

What is Collins trying to say with this poem? How does he capture childhood and the process of growing up? What makes this poem effective? how does this fit into your own life experience?

In this peom it seems like he's having a mid- life cris (spelled wrong). And he doesnt know what to do with his self because he is turing this first big age

Why I Want A a Wife

 1.
2. This repetition is in the story to tell you what type of wife she wants.
3. I dont think Bradley really wants this tpe of wife because she doesn't exist. Bradley probably wrote this story to show people how much the public expects of women back then and still today.
4. She defines it has a person in the house tat mainly takes care of everything and everybody in the house. I think Bradley's decription of what wives responsibilities and charaztization is a little over the top. A women can't do all of that by herself even though some women have to because their not married or husband is dead. It still a hard thing to do. I think she wanted her readers then to think about how much pressure society puts on women.
5. What I admire about about this story is how it makes you think. Especially if your a married man, (for some) it would make them think about all the pressure they put on their wives.

The Little Girl and the Wolf - The twist in the story is funny. You think the little girl is gonna fall for the same trick and then she pulls out an automatic. Moral: It is not so easy to fool little girls nowadays as it used to be.)

The Bear -  The bear was destruction no matter drunk or not. Moral: You might as well fall flat on your face as lean over too far backward.

The Birds and the Foxes - I didnt really get it. Moral: Government of the orioles, by the foxes, and for the foxes, must perish from the earth.

THE bEAUTY AND tHE BEAST fairytale/peom

Yum, chew the bloody flesh
The beast is once again the best

She tired to steal my shine
And because of that she is at rest

The pots told me she bad
I never ever listened

She tired to control my house
Make me look like a bad guy

I nursed her and feed her
Laid out my trap for my dinner

When she lay her head down
I showed my newly sharped teeth

Bye bye Bell
Have a goonights sleep.
